New funding supports team expansion and AI-powered customer support training

SAN FRANCISCO, April 16, 2026: Solidroad announced a $25 million Series A round led by global investment firm Hedosophia, with support from First Round Capital, Y Combinator, and Sony Innovation Fund.

The funding follows Solidroad's seed round, led by First Round Capital in June 2025, and will support expansion of the company's teams across San Francisco and Dublin.

Practice for customer-facing teams

Solidroad helps support teams build skills through realistic AI customer Simulations. Learners practice conversations, receive scores against their team's criteria, and get personalized coaching after each attempt.

Trainers use company guidelines, SOPs, and knowledge base content to define the standards. They can package Simulations into Assignments with passing scores and certification, while managers track progress and readiness.

The platform gives teams a way to prepare agents for common support situations, new products, and difficult customer conversations. Independent practice lets Learners repeat an exercise and apply feedback before handling the situation with a customer.

Supporting customer growth

Since launching in 2023, Solidroad has worked with brands including Ryanair, ŌURA, and Crypto.com. Customers use the platform to develop agent skills, support onboarding, and provide targeted practice.

The new investment will support team growth and further product development as Solidroad brings its training platform to more enterprises.
